We are truly excited to bring you Shawn Humphries Golf Performance (SHGP) Academies! Shawn’s 8 Principles system is simple, easy-to-learn golf instruction that travels with you.

I’ve been involved with this golf academy project from the ground up and truly believe we have created one of the finest golf instruction schools in the country. I will design your own personal plan and teach you the skills to coach yourself, whether on the practice tee or on the course.

Our Academies are featured at two facilities in the U.S. at present:

Cowboys Golf Club, Grapevine, Texas (my home club)

Sunriver Resort, Sunriver, Oregon

Both properties have beautiful and challenging golf courses as well as outstanding practice facilities. Our golf academies' teaching format includes state-of-the-art computer and video equipment for precise swing analysis by our staff of expert professionals.

Shawn's teaching philosophy has been with him since 1989 and is based on helping you understand strengths and weaknesses in your own unique game and enabling you to coach yourself as you improve.
